Born and raised in Tilburg, she went to Amsterdam for her studies. In her final year at the University of Amsterdam, she focused on liability law in combination with social issues and also gave exam training to law students. She has been working at De Koning Vergouwen Advocaten since her student days.

She is an industrious all-rounder who provides advice and support to childcare centers on labor law and the Collective Labor Agreement for Childcare. She also supports the joint enforcer in the temporary employment sector in complying with the Temporary Employment Collective Labor Agreement. She is also broadly interested in contract law and comes up with solutions for things that go completely wrong. She quickly gets to the heart of the problem and secretly calls herself a nerd.

Positive, cheerful, and always present, she scours vintage markets on weekends. She has a very diverse bookshelf, ranging from evolutionary biology and history to pulp novels. She prefers ordering food to cooking and is a lover of la douce France and the accompanying French cuisine
