Dunya van der Mark

A passionate workaholic. She grew up in Haarlem but has been an Amsterdam resident for many decades now. Dunya has been a lawyer since 1998. She previously worked at DKVA from 2012 to 2019. Since 2023, she’s back in her old, trusted environment, this time as a managing partner with a focus on the training, guidance, and coaching of the staff.

Dunya specializes in Labor Law. She is knowledgeable in individual and collective labor law, disability, and absenteeism. She strategically guides reintegration and sickness files. Driven and diligent, she works with employers to achieve optimal results. She is involved from the start and excels in building cases. Quality always comes first, and no deadline is too challenging. She applies her extensive experience mostly in the construction, healthcare, and welfare sectors, as well as the (semi-)government. She has a rapport with her clients and communicates in clear language. She enjoys sharing her knowledge through seminars and in-company courses, particularly on the topic of Disability in the Workplace.

Helpful and energetic, she is rarely idle. She plays hockey every week, either herself or on the sidelines cheering for her children. She loves traveling, skiing with her family, and (outdoor) cooking, preferably Asian cuisine. She always enjoys the company of friends and family. Mother of Jaap and Pien.
