Born and raised in ‘t Gooi. Studied Law at both Utrecht University (Master of Public and Administrative Law) and the University of Amsterdam (Master of European Law). Has been working at De Koning Vergouwen Advocaten since his student days.
Hielke is part of the civil law department at DKVA. He mainly deals with administrative law and tenancy law in the office. Cases regarding zoning plans, permits, and the application of policies regularly land on his desk. He is structured and motivated, especially when dealing with cases that have a certain political aspect.
He enjoys reading history books, watching Netflix documentaries and listening to podcasts (such as “Betrouwbare Bronnen”, “De Cor Potcast”, and “Pak Schaal”). To say he is broadly interested is an understatement. As a chess player, he always thinks three steps ahead. He used to compete in middle-distance athletics and is looking for a new group of friends to play football with.
