The patriarch of the firm. Grew up on the cheesemarket in Alkmaar. A proud citizen of Amsterdam for many years. His father was an entrepreneur and his mother a very articulate speaker. He is both. Lawyer since 1986. Founder of De Koning Vergouwen Advocaten.
A civil lawyer in the broadest sense. Experienced in business law, construction law, and real estate law. Advises the Dutch film sector, the property sector and the hotel and catering industry. Also administrative law has his great interest. Sympathetic and committed. Deliberates until he has found the solution. In the courtroom he feels at home. Prefers harmony, but is never afraid to enter into debate. Always looks for a collective level of support. Listens carefully to his clients. Is an exceptionally good judge of human character and human nature. Shares his knowledge, skills, and experience in many boards and committees (from cinema to public education).
