Born in the heart of the Jordaan and raised in ’t Gooi. Growing up, the family revolved around classical music—not surprising with a renowned conductor as her father. However, she herself is quite unmusical. Her career at De Koning Vergouwen Advocaten is unparalleled. She started in 2000 as a secretary while still in school and worked her way up to managing partner. To this day, she remains just as passionate and committed.
An employment law attorney, certified mediator, and co-managing partner of the firm alongside Michiel Vergouwen. A fast talker and an even faster thinker. Socially engaged and a pillar of support for (among others) the Dutch Childcare Association, the Social Childcare Association, Social Work Netherlands, and CLC Vecta. Goal-oriented, practical, and entrepreneurial. A rock for both employers and employees alike. Complex issues involving reorganizations, dismissals, illness, case management, and employment terms are her daily routine. She provides advice that is clear and straightforward. She is also an expert in (European) privacy law.
Now back in ’t Gooi, she is always impeccably prepared. Highly opinionated and fiercely competitive. She never backs down—ever. Determined to win every padel match. On weekends, she can often be found at her husband’s cozy restaurant with her two sons.
