Reliable, disciplined, meticulous, and critical. Menno holds a Master’s degree in Information Law from the University of Amsterdam (UvA). What can Menno do for you or your company? Menno can assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts (such as distribution agreements, licenses, purchase agreements, general terms and conditions, and partnerships). And if disputes arise from these, Menno litigates on behalf of his clients in court and on appeal at the Court of Appeal. Of course, a swift settlement is often preferred; in such cases, Menno helps reach an amicable resolution. Menno also provides support with debt collection. Naturally, you can also turn to him if you or your company faces a claim or lawsuit.
In addition, Menno advises and litigates on matters involving tort law, reputational damage, and cases concerning privacy or personal data.
Menno is registered in the legal practice areas of Civil Procedural Law and Contract Law in the register of the Dutch Bar Association. Based on this registration, he is required to obtain ten education points annually in each registered legal area in accordance with the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
Menno is a member of the Young Litigators Association and volunteers for the Lawyers for Lawyers foundation, which advocates for attorneys who are threatened or prosecuted because of their work as lawyers.
