Born and raised in Amsterdam, Angela studied law at VU University Amsterdam. After completing her Master’s degree in Employment Law, Angela worked for several years as an employment lawyer, specialising in international labour mobility and cross-border employment relationships at a major accountancy and tax consultancy firm in Amsterdam. She then made the transition to the legal profession, being admitted as a solicitor in 2021. Angela has been working at DKVA since 2025.
Angela specialises in employment law, in which she has built up extensive knowledge and experience. She advises both companies and individuals on a wide range of employment law issues and provides assistance in (legal) proceedings. In addition, Angela has several publications to her name in professional journals, particularly in the field of cross-border movement of workers.
In her spare time, Angela enjoys cooking and is always up for a new travel adventure. A visit to Nepal and climbing part of the Himalayas are high on her bucket list.
Angela has registered the following principal (and subsidiary) practice area in the Dutch Bar Association’s register of legal practice areas: employment law. Pursuant to this registration, she is required to obtain ten continuing professional development points each calendar year in each registered principal practice area, in accordance with the standards of the Dutch Bar Association. Angela is a member of the specialist association Vereniging voor Jonge Arbeidsrecht Advocaten (VJAA).
